Coffee Berries or Cherries

Coffee Berries or Cherries are the ripe and mature red fruits of the coffee tree. Inside every round shape fruit there are two green coffee beans. The skin of the berry is called pulp which will be separated during process to extract the two beans. About 10% of the coffee crop will not be pollinated properly, and in that case only one bean grows inside the berry.  This phenomenon is called peaberry.
