“One lump or two?” is a question referring to how many spoonfuls of sugar you would like to be added to your coffee. Sugar and cream is a popular way to change the texture and flavor of black coffee. It is not the only way to sweeten your coffee drink however. Coffee syrup is a step beyond just sugar. Coffee syrup adds flavor and sweetness to your black drink. Coffee syrup comes in many flavors from basic like Orange, Lemon, Peach, Strawberry, Cinnamon and Peppermint to extravagant flavors such as Chocolate Raspberry and Black Forest Cake. Coffee syrup is not only used for coffee, but also for flavoring tea or club soda and even for baking. Many of these coffee syrups are sugar free. If you really want to experience a flavored coffee drink, try adding say vanilla flavored syrup to vanilla flavored coffee or hazelnut flavored syrup to hazelnut flavored coffee. Even mix your favorite flavor combination such as pineapple flavored syrup and coconut flavored coffee.
So “One lump or two?” can change to, “A little flavor for you? One splash or two?”
