A Master Roaster is a professional coffee roaster who understands the chemical compounds of a specific green coffee, and has practical experience in the application of gradual heat during the roasting process. The goal of a master roaster is to modify the pyrolytic reactions in order to reach the desired roast color, and to keep in balance the moisture content and the flavor characteristics of the roasted coffee beans.
